ROUND ROCK DOLPHINS MAKE A SPLASH IN SEASON OPENER!
What a way to kick off the summer swim season, Dolphin families! Our aquatic swim ninjas absolutely crushed the waters at the RRAC today, with a fin-tastic victory!
FINAL SCORES:
- Round Rock Dolphins: 1132.5 🏆
- Marlins: 1062.5
- Sting Rays: 1001
Talk about making waves! Our Dolphins leaped to an impressive victory but also an incredible number of Time Improvements with 173 swimmers with a first or improved time. More than half the improvements were bingos! In addition to the Records we also have a few time standards set in 11-12 50s.
RECORD BREAKERS ALERT! 🚨
Special shout-out to our incredible record-breaking swimmers who rewrote the history books this weekend. There are quite a few to start the season:
- Bella Zhang for her 25 breast
- Barry Zhang for his 25 breast
- Mika Ribeiro on the 100 IM
- Our two unstoppable 9-10 Girls Round Rock A-Team, who shattered records in BOTH Medley and Freestyle relay records. Some of which have been in place since the late 1900s.
- Congrats to Eily Ramsey, Jeffery Vinke, Jadence Pittman, and Zack Bingham for top dolphin marks in their respective 11-12 categories as top completion in the inaugural launch of these events. They have set the standard for the future.
